In the high-stakes drama unfolding in the congressional impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) got into a heated exchange that quickly escalated into a temper tantrum on Wednesday
Former business associate of Hunter Biden, Tony Bobulinski, testified before the House Oversight Committee this morning. Chairman James Comer (R-KY) had previously extended invitations to Bobulinski, alongside Hunter Biden and Devon Archer, another figure involved in the investigation; however, Biden and Archer did not attend.
The testimony took a turn when Bobulinski said he had witnessed actions by President Biden that could be deemed criminal. Pressed for details, Bobulinski enumerated "Corruption statutes, RICO and conspiracy, DARA."
Ocasio-Cortez then launched into an excessive diatribe as she chastised the Republican majority for embarking on what she views as an impeachment crusade. "Clearly, what we are seeing here today is a continuation of the 15-month saga of the Republican majority lost in the desert impeachment 101."
AOC completely LOSES IT when Tony Bobulinski gives her an answer to her question she doesn't like:

AOC: "Did you witness the President commit a crime?
BOBULINSKI: "Yes."
AOC: "What crime have you witnessed?"
BOBULINSKI: "How much time do I have?"
AOC: "Name the crime."… pic.twitter.com/gjuOmZ3QL8
"The majority party, or whomever is raising impeachment, must accuse the president of a high crime a specific high crime or misdemeanor," said AOC. "This entire impeachment inquiry is based on an actual, provable individual who has lied."
The U.S. House of Representatives, led by the Republican majority, opened the impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden in the latter part of 2023. The move was primarily driven by allegations related to Biden's handling of foreign affairs and his family's business dealings, particularly focusing on his son, Hunter Biden.
Republicans have raised concerns about potential conflicts of interest and misuse of power. An actual impeachment would require a majority vote in the House of Representatives, and removal from office would additionally require a two-thirds majority in the Senate.
